Gateway Elementary serves 1st and 2nd-grade students.  Gateway features a security entrance system,  hands-on Science Lab, Computer Lab and IPADs, Guided Reading, Reading Recovery, UIL Competitions, Target Lab for individual or small group instruction, and Project-based Experiences to Accelerate (PEAK).  Instruction is aligned between grade levels to provide a strong foundation for future learning.  Parents are welcome to join PTO or the Watch D.O.G.S. program.
